The Torah is steeped in stories and writings pertaining to the significance of olive oil. One example is olive oil being poured over a pillow or pillar of stones and that area then being prounounced "Bethel" That was actually the world's first temple!! A pile of rocks with oil poured over. Why did the oil make the rocks a special place to daven?
